Privacy notice

Your account and progress

PoleFolio uses Google or Apple to sign you in. We receive an account identifier and the name and email information you choose to share. PoleFolio does not receive your Google or Apple password.

Your profile preferences, self-reported level, move statuses, side abilities, combination readiness, notes, favorites, goals and dated progress changes are stored in your private account. Optional profile images are stored privately. Apple authorization tokens are encrypted on the server so we can revoke access when you delete your account.

Photos selected for Story images are processed on your device. They are sent to another app only when you use sharing. Temporary share files can remain in the app’s cache until cleanup or removal by the operating system.

How information is used

We use this information to maintain your portfolio, synchronize it across your devices and calculate your personal progress. Your skill records and personal notes are private by default. Community combos are published only after review. Reports and creator blocks are visible only to the reporting account and authorized moderators as applicable. Copies saved as personal combos remain private. Deleting an account removes its community combos; shared catalog contributions may remain without account attribution. Support messages are accessible to authorized staff; support lookup keys expire after 30 days. Completed deletion receipts expire after seven days. A move suggestion that you explicitly submit for catalog review can be seen by authorized content reviewers.

Service providers and storage

Supabase provides authentication, database and storage services for PoleFolio; the project is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. Google and Apple process sign-in requests under their own privacy policies. Expo provides application build infrastructure. Apple distributes iOS builds through the App Store and TestFlight; Android builds are prepared for distribution through Google Play. The app keeps an encrypted cache on your device for offline use.

Analytics are optional and follow your account preference. PostHog usage analytics and Sentry diagnostic reporting are used only when enabled in the release configuration; diagnostic reporting excludes default personal identifiers and request payloads. There are no advertising trackers on this support page. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical request information to operate their services.

Retention and your choices

Account records remain available while your account exists. Deletion requests run as resumable jobs. Support-based deletion requests require ownership verification and do not automatically delete an account. You can request account deletion from Profile in the app. Deletion removes your active account and associated private records; shared catalog contributions may remain without your personal attribution. Infrastructure backups can retain copies until the provider's configured retention expires.

For privacy questions or requests, use the support form or Support in the app. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or private keys.
